Director James Cameron’s Avatar 3 is already in post-production and components of Avatar 4 have already been filmed. That’s whereas he’s doing promotional obligation with the December launch of Avatar: The Manner of Water, the sequel to the unique movie.
In a Q&A with fellow administrators for Empire journal, Cameron was requested whether or not he felt unhealthy that he was not capable of inform the entire tales he needed to due to the Avatar time suck.
Cameron mentioned he had two ideas on that. “The primary is that the world of Avatar is so sprawling that I can inform a lot of the tales I wish to inform inside it and check out most of the stylistic methods that I hope to discover.
“And secondly, sure… our time as artists is finite. I’ll at all times mourn a few of the tales that I don’t get to make.”
Regardless of that, Cameron mentioned he discovered “nice satisfaction when different administrators wish to discover a few of my concepts, like Kathryn Bigelow did with Unusual Days, and Robert Rodriguez did after I handed him the baton on Alita: Battle Angel. I look ahead to extra collaborations sooner or later with administrators I love.”
After being introduced in 2003, Alita was finally given to Rodriguez following years of delays whereas Cameron labored on Avatar. Cameron remained as a producer and it was finally launched in 2019.
