O’Shea Jackson Jr. has entered the chat about nepotism in Hollywood.
The son of legendary rapper and actor Ice Dice needs the world to know he did not get (a lot) assist from his dad. The 31-year-old made his huge performing debut within the 2015 N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton—taking part in his father.
“My dad instructed me in an ideal world, I might play him in straight outta compton,” he tweeted on Dec. 20. “I used to be already in faculty for screenwriting at USC. I accepted the problem. And auditioned for 2 years earlier than getting the function. After that it was as much as me, he could not maintain my hand via my profession.”
Since Straight Outta Compton, O’Shea appeared in initiatives together with Ingrid Goes West, Den of Thieves and three episodes of 2022’s Obi-Wan Kenobi.
