Australian actress Joan Sydney has died aged 83.
Sydney, who was identified for her roles in A Nation Observe and Neighbours, died peacefully on December 28, based on her buddy Sally Anne Upton.
The actress performed Matron Sloane on A Nation Observe in 453 episode between 1983 and 1990.
