The Performative Outrage Machine has been activated for Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare. The British tabloids obtained their arms on a Spanish-language model of the memoir, and so they’ve been dutifully translating it (badly, in some circumstances) and maximizing the excerpts to gas much more outrage. There are already some translated excerpts which appear purposefully complicated, just like the British media is simply making an attempt to sow chaos and division.
