Shamita Shetty-starrer The Tenant to launch in theatres on February 10

The Tenant, written and directed by Sushrut Jain, tells the charming story of how the arrival of an impartial single lady shakes up life in a conservative Mumbai housing society. Shamita Shetty returns to the silver display screen with a up to date, relatable, and fascinating movie, to be launched on 10 February in theatres. The movie follows a beautiful, single, impartial lady who rents a flat in a conservative housing society in Mumbai. Her character and way of life set off judgmental gossip, adolescent crushes, and grownup lust among the many residents of the society. The movie’s unbelievable ensemble solid consists of Swanand Kirkire, Sheeba Chaddha, Atul Srivastava, Rudraksh Jaiswal (seen in Extraction alongside Chris Hemsworth), Harsh Mayar of Gullak fame, and Manish Anand (of Pushpavalli fame).

Delighted with the announcement of the discharge, Shamita Shetty shares: “The Tenant is a mirrored image of the society from the attitude of a contemporary, strong-willed lady and it portrays, honestly and sensitively, experiences that shall be recognizable to each Indian lady. I related with the compelling backdrop of the movie, and the best way it balances the narration of great and disturbing realities of our society with humanity, coronary heart, and even humor. I’m assured that individuals will see why I selected this very difficult, advanced position on this stunning, enjoyable, and significant movie.”

The filmmaker is equally thrilled in regards to the launch after receiving overwhelming reactions at festivals overseas. “It’s a topical topic that has struck a chord with audiences internationally from the USA to Estonia. However at its coronary heart that is an Indian movie that the house viewers will love and discuss,” asserts Sushrut Jain.
