In an interview with Collider, director James Wan spoke in regards to the fourth installment of the Conjuring franchise being the ultimate one, talking in regards to the franchise, Wan stated, “Yeah, we’re engaged on it proper now. With the Conjuring movies, we’re very treasured about (them). And so we sort of wish to simply take our time to ensure we get it proper and to ensure the emotion of the Warren tales that we wish to inform, and shifting into, and probably wrapping up, we simply wish to ensure that it is the appropriate factor, the appropriate story that we’re telling.”
When quizzed whether or not the director plans to wrap the Conjuring franchise, Wan responded, “We by no means know. You by no means know. We’ll see.” Wan is at the moment selling his upcoming horror film M3GAN which releases in theatres on January 6 and stars Allison Williams, Violet McGraw and Jenna Davis amongst others.
